Built in 1900, this grand Victorian offers five unique, modern bedrooms
and a top-floor suite. Our visitors are assured of their privacy at all
times as the owners live in separate quarters.
Guest Rooms
Fir -
a cosy, light double with original wood floor and ensuite bathroom, away
from the street. From $95
Spruce -
our closest concession to the historic aspect of the house, this room
has a heritage feel, with dark wood floor, queen bed and adjacent shared
bathroom with shower and tub. From $89
Cedar -
a spacious, airy queen (top left on photo of house) with seating area,
a view to the lake and the peaks of the Selkirks in the distance, and
private bath with shower. From $109
Aspen -
queen with garden view, private phone, desk with seating and private bath
with shower and tub. Closest to rear parking area. From $109
Pine - with
views out towards Elephant Mountain and the lake, the two 'long' doubles
in this bright front-of-house (top right as you look at the photo of
the house) room can accommodate up to four people, and will suit a family
or travelling friends. Shares bathroom with Spruce next door. From

The
Tamarack Suite - taking up the entire top floor, the suite
comprises two queen bedrooms, a full kitchen with fridge, stove and microwave,
private bathroom with tub and shower, and private access from our off-street
parking. The fore bedroom has excellent views out over the lake, queen bed,
sofa/double futon, and a large living space with 4-6 person table in the window
nook. The second, separate, queen bedroom is at the quieter rear of the house.
Will suit families, two couples or anyone looking to upgrade to a large home
